授業開始＆今週の輪読
茨城大学農学部は 4/11 から今年度の授業が開始されました．例年よりは授業開始が遅くなっていますが，水戸で学ぶ一年次生と授業開始を揃えたためです．今年は桜の開花が遅かったので，ちょうどキャンパスの桜が満開の時期に新年度スタートとなりました．戸嶋先生担当の有機化学は昨日から，長谷川担当の化学生態学入門は今日から授業が始まりました．また，4/11 からは化学生態学研究室と合同のセミナーも開始しました．

新年度
茨城大学では授業は 4/11 から開始ですが，今日から生物制御化学研究室は新年度のスタートを切りました．今年のメンバーは修士 2 年 2 名，学部 4 年 4 名，研究生 1 名で，トータルの人数は昨年度より一名少なくなりました．
今日は年度始めなので，毎年やっている試薬の棚卸し作業を行いました．茨城大学では IASO というウェブベースのシステムを使って試薬の管理をしているのですが，現物とデータベースの整合性を年に一回チェックする作業です．生物制御化学研究室ではリストに登録されている試薬が 1200 以上あるので，なかなか大変な作業なのです．これでも数年前に 3000 以上あった試薬を大幅に整理してかなり減らした数です．今日は学生さんみんなで協力して作業したので，比較的すんなり終わりました．
