今週の研究室セミナーでの文献紹介の担当は化学生態学研究室四年生の武井さんで,紹介した論文は Abe, H. et al. Disarming the jasmonate-dependent plant defense makes nonhost Arabidopsis plants accessible to the American serpentine leafminer. Plant Physiol. 163, 1242-1253 (2013) でした.シロイヌナズナのジャスモン酸非感受性変異体 coi1-1 が野生型は食害を受けないマメハモグリバエの食害を受けることになることについての報告です.今週で今年の研究室セミナーは終了です.今年度の文献紹介も終了で,年明けからは研究報告のみのセミナーを行います.

先週の研究室セミナーでの文献紹介の担当は四年生の奥木さんで,紹介した論文は Stallforth, P. et al. A bacterial symbiont is converted from an inedible producer of beneficial molecules into food by a single mutation in the gacA gene. Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 110, 14528-14533 (2013) でした.キイロタマホロリカビの共生細菌が,単一の変異によって,キイロタマホコリカビの生存に有利な二次代謝産物を生産する共生関係からキイロタマホコリカビの食料になるという報告です.今週の担当は四年生の遠藤君で,紹介した論文は Mousavi, S. A. R., Chauvin, A., Pascaud, F., Kellenberger, S. & Farmer, E. E. GLUTAMATE RECEPTOR-LIKE genes mediate leaf-to-leaf wound signalling. Nature 500, 422-426 (2013) でした.傷害ストレスシグナルの葉から葉への伝達にはグルタミン酸受容体様タンパク質を介した電気的シグナルが関与していることを報告した論文です.

化学生態学実験 III,研究室セミナー,輪読
しばらくブログ更新をさぼってしまいました.長谷川担当の化学生態学実験 III は 11/22 で全日程を終了しました.GC/MS で籾殻抽出物中のモミラクトン A を検出する実験が一回目はどの班でも検出できないという問題がありましたが,濃度を上げたところ,全ての班が検出することができました.それ以外は特に大きなトラブルもなく,順調に終了しました.TA の大学院生の堀江君と濱名君のおかげです.レポート提出〆切は今週末 12/6 です.
先々週の研究室セミナーでの文献紹介の担当は四年生の渡辺さんで,紹介した論文は Zhang, C., Ma, X. & Du, Y. Synthesis of Neu5Ac-α-C-galactopyranosyl-functionalized magnetic nanoparticles via click chemistry. Tetrahedron 69, 7300-7307 (2013) でした.クリックケミストリーによって N-アセチルノイラミン酸を結合させた磁性ナノ粒子の調製についての論文です.先週の担当は化学生態学研究室四年生の藤原さんで,紹介した論文は Sugawara, K. et al. The alteration of plant morphology by small peptides released from the proteolytic processing of the bacterial peptide TENGU. Plant Physiol. 162, 2005-2014 (2013) でした.天狗巣病の原因ペプチド TENGU の植物体内でのタンパク質分解酵素によるプロセシングについての論文です.
